The Plot

The humble beginning of the script was made on January 30, 2007, by Hinesh Jethwani, Founder & Head of Lets Film, with the following plot posted online:

The Bomb Within

Synopsis:

The movie is set in a post 9/11 era, at a time when the US Government has declared an all-out war against terrorism.

In a top-secret Russian laboratory, a new biochemical weapon called “B666” has been developed. Within a span of two hours after being ingested, a single drop of B666 can react with the Hydrochloric acid present in the stomach triggering a Spontaneous Human Explosion (S.H.E.), lethal enough to destroy everything within a ten feet range. Odorless, tasteless and colorless, B666 is virtually untraceable. Those who have knowingly or unknowingly ingested it become ticking time bombs that can pass through any security check undetected. Unknown to the US Government, B666 has already found its way into the hands of the world’s most dreaded terrorist outfit, Al Qaeda.

The entire nation now stands at risk.

With the help of B666, Al Qaeda is planning the worst terrorist attack in history that threatens to wipe out the entire Eastern Seaboard. They plan to turn a young Palestinian woman, Abir Sakir—who has spent a majority of her childhood abandoned in a refugee camp in Jabalya, Gaza—into a suicide bomber. Abir lost her parents, brother and sister in an attack by Israeli armed forces and was adopted by an American missionary who took her out of the refugee camp and brought her to Boston, where she has been raised since the age of 7. Now a nuclear scientist, Abir has access to some of the most secure areas of the Nuclear Power Station in Maine. Al Qaeda plans to use her troubled childhood and resentment against the allies of Israel to coerce her into voluntarily ingesting B666 and walking into the deepest part of the Maine Nuclear facility, which would place her within ten feet of the nuclear reactor, triggering the worst nuclear fallout that the world has ever seen.

Highly decorated ex-Navy Seal (winner of congressional medal of honor) Jason Clifford has been appointed as the head of the Anti-Terrorist Action Team (ATAT) – A special taskforce with a mission to track down and eliminate Al Qaeda operatives hiding in the US and protect high-risk facilities – the Nuclear Power Station in Maine being the prime among them. Jason’s team has been briefed by the CIA that terrorists plan to bomb the country’s largest nuclear facility, but they do not know how and when.

The latest intelligence from CIA shows that Abir has received a call from an Al Qaeda operative in the Middle East. Abir is now under 24/7 surveillance by Jason and his men who hope to catch her off guard receiving the explosives. However, they have no clue that the bomb they are searching for is a biochemical agent that has already been dropped off to her at a mall shelf hidden inside a coke canister.

To avoid being detected, Jason goes undercover in the guise of a nuclear scientist who is infatuated with Abir and tries to befriend her. Gradually, his pretense turns to reality and he finds himself increasingly attracted to Abir.

With no antidote to B666 available, what will happen when Jason finds out that Abir is a ticking time bomb? Can he save the nation and the woman that he is in love with?

How the collaborative script writing process works

Lets Film has setup an online collaboration tool that will allow virtually any number of writers from across the world to work on the same script. An expert panel consisting of leading script writers will take ongoing decisions on which contributions / suggestions should be accepted / rejected. As a result, new versions of the script will be posted on the site after every release has been approved by the panel. Active writers can update their scripts with the latest accepted versions through the collaboration tool available.

By using the easy Wiki tool, filmers can easily edit the film script "without" requiring any technical knowledge. All you need to do is click "edit" and begin snipping away at the script. It doesn't get any easier than that!

There is no need to worry if you accidentally overwrite someone else's posts or you feel that your contributions are not up to the mark. When a filmer submits an edit made to any particular page of the script, it is recorded in the Wiki database. Previous versions of the script are never deleted. Therefore, the Wiki allows easy reverts in case of vandalism or spamming, or in case the jury decides that new revisions submitted are not up to the mark. Your edits/posts are safe and sound in the Wiki database.
